The main airport serving the British Virgin Islands is Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport (EIS) located on Beef Island, just east of Tortola. The airport provides convenient regional connections to several Caribbean hubs, making travel to the BVI smooth and accessible.

From the airport, travelers cross the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge, which connects Beef Island to Tortola. Most villas and resorts across the island can be reached within 15 to 30 minutes by taxi or private transfer.

Visitors traveling to the British Virgin Islands (BVI) must present a valid passport upon arrival. Your passport should remain valid for the duration of your stay.
Most visitors from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and many European countries do not require a visa for short tourist stays in the British Virgin Islands.
Travelers arriving from the U.S. Virgin Islands (St. Thomas or St. John) must still clear British Virgin Islands Customs and Immigration when entering Tortola or any other BVI port of entry.
Passengers arriving by air or ferry will complete customs and immigration processing upon arrival in the British Virgin Islands. Visitors may be required to complete an online immigration form prior to travel to help speed up the arrival process.
